Ashton Vale Community Centre has been in the heart of the community for more than 60 years.

The building was erected  in the early 1950s and has been a hub of community contact since then.  It has a long established history as a venue for community events. 

We became a Registered Charity (Charity Number 1161245)  in 2015 and the Community Centre is now entirely self funded. 

Ashton Vale is  predominantly a residential area, bordered on three sides by commercial trading estates. We are a multigenerational community and a number of local families have been here since the first parts of the estate were built in the 1930s but we've also seen many new people moving to the area, bringing new skills and new ideas. 

We are entering a time of change and development for the Community Centre and are always looking for ideas to make the space, and the activities we offer, more welcoming and accessible for everyone.
